Like how can you really say Monstrous Regiment is worse than Jingo, or vice versa. It's ridiculous.

+1. I know a lot of people rank the Night Watch books really high, but Sam Vimes gets on my nerves, so nope. But I can't say they're "worse" just that they're not my preference.

Yeah exactly! They're personally my favorites and the wizards / Rincewind books are my least favorites but those are still really good books, just not as much to my personal taste.

the guards books are fine - men at arms in particular is great, although its gonne politics are certainly a thing - but he went through a stage of writing *nothing but* guards books (or more accurately vimes books) and that got real stupid and real boring real fast

but yeah, give me some death and susan books and i'm golden

Agreed. I may have favorites, but I don't think it is possible to say that any is actually better than any other.
