Googling around suggests a crepe eraser might help you out? I don't want to vouch for the veracity of that, since I've never used one, but they are used for getting sticky note residue off of textbook pages, which sounds pretty close to your problem!

Hrmmmmmm! Interesting! I'll have to see if i can find one around here - seems silly to order an eraser online, heh, but we're not burdened with a lot of choice here.
