A little thing that made you happy

(Anonymous) 2023-06-16 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
I just discovered my local library's website lets me create lists and save books to it. So now whenever I find a book that piques my interest I can just log in and add it to the list, so in the future I can go back and check it out! I keep lists other places, but it being attached tot he library so I can see if it's available or put a hold on it makes it so much better.

Also just found a rec list of a whole bunch of books that seem right up my alley, so excited about that too.

NAYRT

I'm still waiting on Libby to allow me to see my list with my local library in the app. They said they were working on it. I've got over two hundred books on that list, it's such a pain to go back and forth.

I used it for awhile but stopped and started using my local library's site and I honestly can't remember why I switched.

Currently what is making me happy is my cat asleep on top of my feet.

You know what, that makes me happy, too. Please give your cat a pet from me, an anonymous internet guy who thinks cats are great.

I got the notice that the final book of a series I've been reading was waiting for me at the library! Went and picked it up and am now looking forward to snuggling in bed and reading in a little bit.

But it is the final book in the series? How is that happy?

The culmination of what the whole series has been building up to! What's not to be happy and excited about? I'm looking forward to seeing how this one ends and finishing up the series and moving on to the next in my To Read piles!

I got some Cherry Garcia ice cream the other day because I'd *really* been craving it and I don't do well in the heat, had a little treat just for myself before bed.

Realizing that my hamstrings are starting to be visible on the same level as my quads and calves. Now I feel like the muscular development of my leg muscles is getting more balanced.
