You sound like a well-meaning person who's fallen for a lot of TERF talking points. I am not calling you a TERF, but you're close to becoming one. You say that trans women are women and trans men are men, but then basically start to question whether they should be treated like women and men, or like their birth assigned genders. A lot of the things you're saying are also completely wrong (nobody is "pumping kids full of hormones" or denying that the trans experience is different from the cis experience of growing up) and very often the most basic information you'll see debunked if you listen to any trans advocate. I would really suggest doing that if you're genuine in your belief that trans people are valid.

We're all learning so, yes, I will look into things more. Thank you for being kind. I wasn't trying to say they shouldn't be treated as men and women, only that I think the issue is complex and that a lot of the conversation gets lost in anger.
