Is there merchandise you wish you had of any particular fandom?
Be it just about anything for an obscure fandom or a very specific type of merchandise that you wish existed with your fandom in mind.

I regret not getting more In Space With Markiplier merch while I had the chance (I did manage to get a tshirt in the sales, but only got one of the variants because I wasn't sure if I should spend the amount that it would have cost to ship it all here).

Also would love to see merch for Petshop of Horrors too.

Honestly, I kind want a coffee table book of YouTuber portraits (preferably YouTubers from the brainier corners of the platform; brains and good looks can go together sometimes).

I wish more fandom clothing existed that was more subtle and grown up. I love a good graphic tee or print, but sometimes I want a more adult type of style.

Funny you mention this, as I was perusing the Instagram for Volante Design to make a point about portrait posing. The stuff here might be up your alley.

I get what you mean. I would love to find a jacket like this maroon leather jacket Ryan Gosling wore in "The Place Beyond the Pines". Certain characters' styles really pop out to me in Sofia Coppola films. I would go pretty hard on certain characters' style inspired clothing if someone did something like that for a show like Sex and the City (or put in your own choice of a fashion-heavy show/film).
Not just actual replicas of the outfits that characters wore either, but like pieces that a certain character would likely wear.

I don't really want the fandom logos/characters' faces plastered all over everything as a fandom fashion statement.
Sometimes it's way more fun to emulate the styles than to put on essentially a billboard for a marketable thing.

I would love stuff like this where it's, for an example off the top of my head, a plain casual work dress but little embroidery details are Sailor Moon themed or something. Just little touches like that.

There was a special version DVD boxset for "Pan's Labyrinth" only released in Japan that I would love to own.

TNG: Ro's Dja Pagh--I've only seen Kira's
DS9: a Playmobil set of the station--and they should do a second Enterprise set with the TNG cast? ~~...gods I want the Playmobil TOS Enterprise set why is it so expensiiive~~
Arcane: a HexCore fidget cube (there's one on Etsy but oof that's expensive!!). And a big Rio plushie (there's none on Etsy??)

Venom: a great big tsumtsum Venom plushie?

Tbh it sounds dorky but I just want world/setting bibles for fanfic writers . Or when the series is done , a canon bible. I'd love it if authors did this

I mainly just wish I could buy high-quality merch that I could feel great about owning and having for potentially decades. Particularly clothing and other wearables. I want quality fabric, quality craftsmanship, and quality design. I will pay for quality.

I would particularly love if there was more stealth merch--stuff that is more subtle and/or more abstruse. I would love to be able to buy a high-quality reproduction of a recognizable item a character wore.

I basically never buy merch, and the biggest reason is because the vast majority of it is cheaply made and feels very generic.

I get that most people either aren't willing to spend more for fan merch or simply can't afford to, and that that's why companies don't bother making high-quality merch; because it's simply not worth doing, and might actually lose them money. I'm not saying film companies are stupid for not making the kind of merch I would actually like to buy. I'm just describing the kind of merch I would actually like to buy.

Honestly I'd just love to have a whole costume. Any really. Used to have a Star Trek uniform as a kid and that was really fun.

One of my favorite characters in my main fandom has just... no merch whatsoever. And it's kind of a crapshoot who gets, like, a funko pop or whatever? Like one very minor character might get enough of a fuss early on despite having no screen time, to have someone scramble to say 'oh, yeah, merch for her!' but then another side character with a fair amount of screen time/action they're in on will be pretty consistently enjoyed over three seasons but not have the same *type* of big hype?

And like, it wouldn't HAVE to be a funko pop, that's just an example-- at this point though, if the show put out anything for this guy, I would jump on it. Anything from a tie-in novel to a bookmark, like give me anything. (though a funko pop would be ideal because I do have the one of the character I ship him with, who... again, has comparably no screen time? Who makes a pretty vital contribution to one season and ABSOLUTELY deserves his own hype and is also a fave, I just... why can I not get merch of my other guy?)

I'm coming from book fandoms, but it would also nicely work for others: I wish there was more merch that is stuff the characters (could) "use" in their world. Like, the book mentions a keychain a character uses? Get me that keychain. The characters go to a certain tavern/restaurant regularly? Get me cutlery/plates/drinking glasses from that place. There is a cool deco piece in the villain's home? Get me that.
Basically more... subtle things I can have in my life instead of merch with the characters' faces on them.
(I'm aware that stuff like that exists, but usually only for big fandoms)

I really love high quality collector figurines and would love some for several fandoms, especially for some Chinese BL novels. And I would love some figurines of male characters, especially Zhongli, in the quality of the existing Ningguang figurine but lol, the merch for Genshin is simply too waifu centered.
On the other hand, I'm kinda glad I don't get any of these figurines because they're a) very expensive and b) I have no space to display them properly.

I would love a Beatles or House tarot deck
also, there are a zillion Monopoly sets but why doesn't Boardwalk Empire have one?

ngl a set of House MD tarot cards sounds like the best idea ever.

(Yes, I realize if I looked long enough in fandom, I'd probably find someone who makes them but I'm an obnoxious princess who's picky as fuck.)

More Vagrant Story stuff.

If I was to get specific, my dream merch would be a Hardin figure, because while it's great they released a set with Sydney and Ashley, I feel sad having Sydney without his "partner"/"friend".

In an ideal world, they'd release another two-pack with Hardin and Callo (since they spent so much time together in canon, and I would totally be fine putting the Callo figure with Ashley while Sydney and Hardin are off doing their thing), and since they already gave us the "bonus" of the rood keychain in the first pack, and Callo and Hardin don't need a million weapons, maybe the "extra" in that pack could be a little Joshua figure to go along with them. :D

Extra credit: another two-pack with Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. Or Guildenstern and Samantha? eh I'd take any of them.

(And there needs to be more Yuri merch in T&B2-land. It's like they forgot he existed and are making merch for literally everyone else. :()

It wasn't actually merch, but when I went to Canada while I was in college I saw a stuffed wolf in a red mountie uniform. I still regularly read due South fic, and I regret to this day not buying that wolf. Obvs I would have named him Diefenbaker.

There was Comic Con exclusive merch from Bob's Burgers a few years ago, and they had a stuffed animal version of the two-butted goat from "Stand By Gene" that I still think about. I've only ever seen them reselling for ridiculous rices on eBay, lol.

Accurate costume replicas. Except since even some of the fabrics run $500/yard and the real deal finished costumes cost $40,000-$60,000, if they were available as RTW, I'd be spending my yearly pre-tax salary just for one.

What I want most is a life-size Wigglytuff plushie that's really, really soft and squishy and smells like either cotton candy or bubblegum. I also want a replica of Aqua's keyblade, but if I had to choose between the two I'd go with the Wigglytuff plushie.
