I got told to kill myself a lot when I played League of Legends. It’s also a popular stereotype that Tumblr blogs that use a lot of pastel colors and talk about “positivity” will tell you to kill yourself.

I know, right? But yeah, it does suck.

It's sort of emblematic of the lack of social consideration on social media - people other each other over very little, and rage like they're cussing out the devil himself just because they heard something they judge harshly.

I like that it's very much not the norm on the spaces I've frequented in DW.

Yeah, Kpop is especially rampant with it and they seem not at all to be joking most of the time.

you are so lucky, I envy your circles.
I mostly see it in gaming, anime and cartoons fandoms, almost always used by teens or under 25y/o users.

Yeah, I play/watch all those, but I'm not in any of the fandoms. I will definitely avoid them in the future. They sound toxic.
