What happened lately that made you excited? Or just generally put a smile on your face?

(Dammit, I just wanted to share my excitement for the OP live action trailer... :'( )

Teaser trailer and pictures for live action ATLA. I'm still nervous given that the original creators left. But damn it, I'm also really excited. Really, really excited.

New trailer for Dune 2. Positive reviews for Indy 5.

Live action ATLA seems to be on a good track as well. I don't follow it personally but a YouTuber I like is still optimistic as well, even after the creators left. Hopefully the production can keep going in the right direction.

All the little tidbits for the LA One Piece. I don't care if it's GOOD, I just want it to be fun and to have the OP spirit, and so far it seems like it does.

Right??? I loved everything I saw in the trailer. And the characters and crew dynamics seem like something I can totally get behind.

That last scene where Luffy tells Zoro about how all great fighters call out their finishing moves - he looks so excited when he tells Zoro that and it just fits! East Blue Luffy IS an excited kid going on a grand adventure!

And then Zoro's pause and flat "no, they don't", lol. I love the goofier side of Zoro that was more prevalent in East Blue, but if they decide to play the crew a bit more straight to be better foils to Luffy I'm not mad.

And Buggy! And that gorgeous shot of Shellstown! And that moment between Nami and Zoro! And Sanji kicking probably-Fullbody for causing a fuss in the restaurant! (Really excited for non-pervert Sanji, actually. Probably still a simp, but at least not as much of a pervert).

And Mackenyu's sword fighting! I mean, the two sword action was already hot, but have you seen a still of the three sword style? How the heck did he make having a sword in his mouth look that good???

I love everything, I'm hype and I'm hoping we'll get another trailer with more Usopp and Sanji soon. Though it doesn't matter, I'll definitely watch every episode anyway. Like you said, it doesn't have to be good, it just has to be fun and feel like OP and it seems like they managed to do that.

Haha my face when Zoro was like, "No they don't." You'll get into the spirit eventually Zoro!

The trailer was so gooood, I loved how the Baratie looked, and that end clip with Sanji's foot smack down.

From what I've seen of the cast interactions they all seem to have that camaraderie which makes a good ensemble show too, which has me excited.

I can't wait~. As someone who started watching OP when it was first airing and the internet was a lawless wasteland of fansubs, this is one show I really hope they do justice. I do need to catch up though lol. I sort of fell off the wayside sometime around 2007 when I finished college and started working and ~life~ got in the way lol.

The Sanji scene was amazing. The way he casually kept hold of the dish he was carrying while kicking was *chef's kiss*, pun entirely intended.

You stopped in 2007?? That puts you around *checks wiki* the Enies Lobby arc? Oh, wow, if you decide to catch up, you are in for a treat! Some amazing arcs are right around the corner.

So exciting when they get things right! I'm not a fan of One Piece but I'm excited for you!

Not really exciting, but after it rained it was perfect weather for weeding the garden. I've put it off because I hate weeding in the front yard (it's a busy street and people talk to me and it's awkward) but I managed to get 90% of the dumb grass out of my gardens and they look so good! I just stood there smiling at a job well done and a happy clean looking garden.

It just rained here after a few weeks of being too hit and dry, so that was really pleasant. It's nice you got your weeding done! Getting a job done, especially if you put it off for a while, feels so good. And yay for your clean garden!

I finally sat down and wrote 2500 words detailing a photography project I'm itching to do (inspired by Robert Trachtenberg's Red Blooded American Male) even though I have little portraiture work and a substantial lack of confidence. At least writing it out means it's not rattling around my head driving me crazy/crazier. Of course I linked to some pictures of YouTubers who have examples of the kind of portraits I want to take, and I only regret it a little bit. Still, I'm excited that I got the idea out of my head, and there's even a little bit of support for the theme of this whole thing.

...I got to some REALLY INTERESTING cutscenes in FFXIV today, after a battle that I was not expecting and completely unprepared for and was VERY EXCITING AND HAD AN AMAZING SURPRISE TWIST. I have no clue how I actually managed to beat it, so that in itself would've counted. But then soooo many lovely cutscenes after. (One of them actually brought a tear to my eye and I like... don't cry at media. Ever.)
