Suggestion that not being gleeful when privileged people die preventably doesn't prevent appropriate outrage and grief about preventable tragedies suffered by those less privileged.

But agree with underlying sentiment that we (and the news cycle) should care more about the latter than we do.

I'm worn down. I hate this capitalist hellscape. So I can either cry about the literal poor babies drowning because of fucking optics, or I can laugh about the rich people getting exactly what the rest of us could see from a mile away. I have compassion fatigue and my tear ducts are all dried up. So laughing at stupid rich people it is.

Not sure if the pun was intentional, but I agree about the teen.

I'm not gonna lie. Yes, the deaths were horrific, but I'm having a hard time feeling bad for a few billionaires who were that careless with their own safety. They fucked around and found out. It's unfortunate the kid paid the price too.
