(I haven't seen the video referenced in your secret, so i apologize if I'm getting the wrong idea.) Paul and Morgan were extremely periphery characters in the documentary, examples of the newer, less "unworldly", more public-facing fundamentalists. There was enough of their clips and interview to get that across to me.

OP

According to the vudeo by The Antibot, the clip of Paul and Morgan was A. a small portion of several hours if fming the documentary crew actually completed with them and B. the clip that was played was dropped in a scene that was part of a segment about the Joshua Generation. The efiting implied Paul and Morgan were specifically engaged in the furthering of IBLP, which is in fact not the case.

The Antibot pointed out that this editing move contributes to a mainstream tendency to lump all Christian fundamentalists together. I can see why this is not necessarily a good idea, and it does cast doubt on the filmmakers' intention.

Are Paul and Morgan Christian Nationalists, or not?

This secret is oblique enough that I really have no idea what it's trying to say or what it's talking about.

I've got enough background to know the Duggars are reactionary fundamentalist Christians who had umpteen children and were sort of put on TV by the right in the hopes that they would model wholesome, white American values or some such, but that didn't work out like they'd hoped because one of the teenage girls got pregnant and one of the older sons was caught sexually molesting small children? So that unintentionally became more of a "wow, Christians are really comfortable attempting to sweep their own crimes under the rug while pontificating about how sinful everyone else is," as opposed to good publicity.

But there's a new show and ... ? Antibot? IBLP? Can someone translate?

There've been no teen pregnancies among the Duggar daughters, but yes the oldest son did sexually touch his younger sisters as a teen and the parents did nothing of substance about it and he is now in jail for possession of child sex abuse materials. Idk what antibot is, but IBLP is short for institute in basic life principles aka the cult the Duggars belong to

I see. Thanks for the clarification. I must have gotten two scandals that happened around the same time mixed together.

Antibot appears to be “The Antibot”, a channel on YouTube.

I don't know who these reviewers (?) are, but from what I've seen of P & M, which is rather a lot, their depiction in the doc was extremely accurate to who they are and how they present themselves
