Mushrooms. I like to try vegeterian opinions but fucking mushrooms are everywhere. I can't stand texture, smell, taste of mushrooms. Also my body rejects them now.

Does anyone here also has stress periods? If my period is due in a few days more or less and I had some stressful enough thing happen I am so going to have period right there and now. Works every time. Why body, why?

Thank you! This is extremely helpful information (and I'm sorry if you felt provoked into sharing it or anything.) I still think AO3 is only half the equation and whoever is behind the CSAM attacks needs to be stopped as well. (My poor wording I know makes it sound like it's the ex-volunteer and the CEO when it wasn't and that was my poor wording and my bad. Sorry.)

Thank you for sharing again. The type of information going around is not helpful to AO3 or resolving anything. And I do hope the chairs listen and get around to reform the volunteer structure. Because that's important but alas, non-profits are also notoriously slow about change (and some ways that is by design.)

Yeah, there's a Gizmodo article that says, "Andor’s costume designer specifically designed their prison outfits to be too uncomfortable to cosplay," and the words 'designed their prison outfits' is a link, which makes it seem like the link is going to be to an interview in which the costume designer is quoted saying this. But the link is actually just to another Gizmodo article about how uncomfortable the prison costume apparently was.

I read one interview with said costume designer, and he didn't say anything about the costumes being designed to discourage cosplay, and I've read a couple of interviews with the creator who never mentions it either.

It might still be legit info, but if it is then I wish someone who cite the source, because I wasn't able to find it.

I know the whole "too uncomfortable to cosplay" thing is a tossed out statement from some fluff-piece article, but I have yet to be able to find an actual source for that info. If anybody has one, I'm all ears.

The actors have said they hated the costumes, because they were some kind of cheap, flimsy, paper-like fabric, designed to look like they were disposable. Also, because they had to wear them day after day. Also, because they didn't get to wear shoes. And also because the set was sterile and white and the costumes were sterile and mostly white and everybody was dressed the same, which made for a kind of monotony and lack of personal identity that was unpleasant over time. Which is to say, they were very well-designed costumes that achieved exactly the effect they were going for.

And of course they're being cosplayed like crazy; they're relatively cheap and easy to make (or buy). Also, a lot of people relish the chance to embody such a great part of such a great show.

As a fanfic reader who read fanfic for many years prior to AO3's existence, I have a lot of feelings--mainly respect and immense gratitude--towards AO3, for improving my fanfic reading (and writing) experience exponentially. It would be 'very odd' if I didn't feel gratitude for a site that improved my experience of my favorite pastime as much as AO3 has done.

The opposite top/bottom dynamic for my OTPs to the one I like. I would have a bunch more fics to read if I enjoy all configurations, but I just can't get into it. Occasionally I'll come across a fic where I genuinely can't tell who'll top and who'll bottom until I get to the sex scene(s), in which case I'm usually fine to keep reading. But 98% of the time I can guess top/bottom roles by how the characters are written, and if it's not my preferred configuration then I'm out.

So I actually started drinking just plain hot water and I love it. I like tea but can't drink a lot of varieties and the hot water is perfectly neutral and it's supposed to be pretty healthy as well.
It's not for everyone but I found I quite enjoy it.

I have stress ones too and it totally blows. Why can’t my body be normal and not have a period when I’m stressed instead of being the opposite?

The tagging sucks. I find it hard to find fics with all the crossovers dumped into the same category as the non crossover fics, and I still don't know how to search without having to try and remember how their weird search engine works. It seems like you have to know coding to know what to put in the search box to get results, and even then they are not great because of the tagging issues.

And the way its fans can't seem to speak well of it without first taking the time to trash any other fan fiction repository. That is never a good look.

There is an exclude crossovers option under more options in the sort and filter sidebar.
