Yeah, there's a Gizmodo article that says, "Andor’s costume designer specifically designed their prison outfits to be too uncomfortable to cosplay," and the words 'designed their prison outfits' is a link, which makes it seem like the link is going to be to an interview in which the costume designer is quoted saying this. But the link is actually just to another Gizmodo article about how uncomfortable the prison costume apparently was.

I read one interview with said costume designer, and he didn't say anything about the costumes being designed to discourage cosplay, and I've read a couple of interviews with the creator who never mentions it either.

It might still be legit info, but if it is then I wish someone who cite the source, because I wasn't able to find it.

oooh that is some creative paraphrasing. the hollywood reported article also quoted doesn't mention anything except that they were uncomfortable for the actors
