I think that AO3 should take a copyright case all the way to the Supreme Court. Mainly because I would laugh so hard when this SCOTUS slammed them down so hard in favor of family values and traditional interests, that would be fucking hilarious day. There is a reason AO3 has suddenly got a lot less combative over stripping creators of their copyrights lately, it is because they know they would lose hard. Creators should have the right to decide whether they want fanfic or not allowed, and if someone creates fanfic then the copyright should remain with the original property creator. And SCOTUS believes that too, as AO3 knows.

I drink hot water as well. I love tea, but sometimes I just want water, and drinking cold water in winter makes me feel cold. Sometimes I put a little bit of lemon in it for something different.

And I'm usually very stressed when I have a long journey or have to take the airplane.
And guess who ALWAYS has her period when she has to board an airplane? Even if she had the last period like two weeks prior? Me.

AO3 sucks because you can't figure out how to click a button? Because you can't be bothered to read the guide they give if you want to use search operators that can't fit in a nice side bar? That sounds like a YOU problem, not an AO3 problem.

It's been a bit since I watched it, but I recall being struck by two things. First, he dwelled a fair amount on certain articles giving more weight to linking him to his brother without considering that he is not necessarily a household name. His brother has a bit more mainstream cred, so this tactic being used makes sense. The other thing is that he missed an opportunity to more thoroughly highlight articles that covered his duagnosis in an unsensational manner.

I perhaps shouldn't be surprised by either of these things since how he talks about the media is all over the map. Hell, when he pointed out TikTok's failures, he brushed off the shadow banning accusations without considering which groups have experienced shadow banning (BIPOC and those with disabilities; being both of those categories I wad not pleased with his lack of consideration).

I love this for you guys! I'm no interior designer myself, but I love it when people can support the arts in different ways and create a living space that gives them happiness and peace (or whatever they're looking for)!

I have an air fryer. I don't use it as often as I should. HOWEVER. Perfectly crispy and cooked anything. Family that uses the air fryer gets chicken on point. I think I'll try to make empanadas and brussel sprouts in it. I usually get some dumplings and cook them in there. It's been pretty good and much better than frying.

Yes! Whenever I'm super stressed, I'll get mine. Doesn't matter if I just had it. Doesn't matter if it's a long way off. Stressed? Really stressed? Here ya go!! Idk why this happens lol. I should ask my GYN. But I figure it's just the body reacting to stress. Some people break out. Some get hair loss. I have no idea

I'm seconding Red River! It was a series I turned to after I was done with...I forget if it was Rurouni Kenshin or Inuyasha, or some shonen/shoujo. But it was great. Never finished it so it's on my list, but it's good!

I've tried watching BNHA and AoT twice now and it never stuck lol. Actually it may be three times for AoT.

I've watched a few episodes of JJK and it's... okay? Like I am enjoying it, but not in a "I watched all of it in one sitting and can't wait for season two" sort of way.

I want there to be another fanfic site so that people can happily monetize their fics on them, while everyone else watches to see how long it takes for someone or the whole site to be sued.

But in all serious, maybe its me being paranoid but I don't like the idea of everything just being on one website. Like, I know that probably sounds bonkers because I actually like AO3 too - but maybe its because I've been online long enough to see sites closed or get hacked & wiped, that at least knowing there's a copy somewhere else than losing everything in one spot.
Also, as an alternatives for people who just hate AO3 with a passion can go elsewhere or whatever. And I think people do want that otherwise they wouldn't be posting fics in random places like Qoutev.

I find extreme haters of this website also very odd if that makes you feel better? Which was my point: anyone getting overly emotional over a fanfic archive, especially if they're going to have angry internet fights for or against it, really need to get off the internet for a bit.

It's just a website, it's not life or death.
