I find extreme haters of this website also very odd if that makes you feel better? Which was my point: anyone getting overly emotional over a fanfic archive, especially if they're going to have angry internet fights for or against it, really need to get off the internet for a bit.

It's just a website, it's not life or death.

It's a website I've used almost every day for over a decade, it's been very helpful for my mental health and my creative drive, and I've met a lot of very dear friends there, some of whom I spend a lot of time with IRL now. It would be weird not to have some kinds of feelings about it.
