Unfortunately, that doesn't appear to be true.

But it doesn't really matter either way. What matters is that it is endemic now, but there are people who think we should avoid all physical contact until it's gone. And we just can't structure society around that thought without it falling apart.

Honestly, falling apart would be better than what we have now. We could build something better instead of limping along causing misery to everyone but the rich.
