GI Joe is one of the most popular action figures of all time and deeply influential in its time. I assume it's not as popular nowadays because American army man isn't as strong a selling point after the public backlash against the Vietnam War.

Yeah, I don't like most of the Fontaine designs at all. Generally I appreciate the designs more, after I saw the characters move around and got to know them, but at the moment I don't think that will help a lot.
But I saw the landscape shots, so I am super excited for the new region and exploration is my favorite part of the game anyways. And yeah, being able to save Primos is always good, so I don't mind so much.

I'm pretty sure everyone thinks he's scene chewing. But it probably feels appropriate to the genre to most people. I prefer both pacino and then de niro in 2, because I like development in character studies like this.

Yeah, I'm all for warning on certain things - but I don't think I have ever seen anyone who has ever done a prank or real-world roleplay think 'oh yeah, better use the unreality tag!'
Like I was duped into thinking it was real until I found out that it wasn't - and I assume anyone else in the same position wouldn't need to tag it as such once they knew it was a joke.

GI Joe is very American. It works if you are targeting an American only market, but in a wider context it does lack social context.
