but it's a little rich that you think every disability is cooked in a post-apoc story, like that's a questionable conclusion you came to that's also ableist, and I'd talk more about it if I thought you cared about ableism in the first place.

I was thinking the same thing. As someone who is disabled, this secret feels more reductive and offensive than post-apocalypse stories and the people that enjoy them.

it is very reductive! I'm not saying disabled characters are handled well or at all in apoc-fiction but the idea that we're all fucked no matter what is so???? it really suggests someone who doesn't talk to disability advocates or activists or read about it at all.

For real. I'm disabled and I would be able to get along just fine for the most part in a post-apocalyptic situation. So would many other disabled people I know.
