Sure, a lot of disabled people would not survive an apocalypse, but a lot of abled people wouldn't either. I don't think the premise itself is ableist, as a disabled person I find it interesting to think about what my advantages and disadvantages would be in that situation and how I would manage my disability. I think that apocalypse fiction authors do sometimes have a reactionary point of view, and a lot of it sucks, but the premise can be explored in many different ways.
