1. Mostly I didn't like the Xbox cause of general lack of good RPGs. That's just me, though. RPGs = very important to me.

6. You'd be surprised. There have been secrets I've made that I swore up and down people would recognize as me... and then didn't. XD Although I tend to use pictures from fandoms I know, and those are small fandoms.. so.. xD people are like "lol a ___ picture, it must be misu."

Is it me, or does it seem like a lot of the secrets these days are messages to other people? And the people the secrets are directed to will know exactly who sent them, usually!
It's like a super-passive-aggreseive way to attack someone. I dunno. I like it when secrets are vague when it has to do with who they're targeted at, and who they're from.

1. I'm almost an exclusive X-Box gamer. The reason I ain't is because some of my favorite PS2 games are also on X-Box 360 and I don't have one yet. Once I get my 360, I'm chucking the PS2 and it's games out the door. (that is if I can't sell them)

1. I personally didn't like the XBox because it seemed like Microsoft was just trying to extend their monopoly into yet another form of interactive entertainment, but on a more practical level, the games exclusive to it just weren't my type. XD I'm not big on first-person-shooters and stuff like that, and it seemed like the variety of games were too... American, I guess? When the other consoles had a healthy mix of American and Japanese third-party developers.

HOWEVER. I WOULD LIKE TO ADD THAT THE ONE EXCEPTION TO THIS WAS MORROWIND. I HAD THE ORIGINAL VERSION. I HAD GAME OF THE YEAR VERSION. THAT GAME OWNED MY SOUL

I'm still half-tempted to get a 360 JUST to play Oblivion. ._.

9. Emi.

1. Since it was made by Microsoft, I figured a lot of the games would be released for the PC as well as the console, so I didn't bother buying an Xbox. Turned out the selection was mostly first-person shooters and racing games anyway, which I'm... not a fan of.

I played Jade Empire for a while and it was pretty fun, but it's not worth getting a whole system just for one or two games.

4 & 7. I thiiink I know who you two are. Well, I know 4 for sure, because I just so happened to see that entry a few days ago.

I agree with 7 by the way. Not much of a secret though ]: Doesn't everyone?

2. Ah, irresponsible, leeching lame cosplayers who think they're great at a character.

3. I'm partial to more the minor characters than the main ones, as well.

4. Y HALO THAR CASE.

[identity profile] lostremnant.livejournal.com 2007-04-03 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
1. I could afford only one console system. PS2 had the Final Fantasy series. Choice was easy.

3. She is so funny.

[identity profile] queenie-z.livejournal.com 2007-04-03 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
7. IT'S NOT A SECRET IF IT'S OBVIOUS WHO WROTE IT ♥

but I'm guilty of the same thing lol

QFT. Seriously. I fucking love the Xbox, and I love the Xbox 360 too. People say they have a lack of good RPGs, but they only lack in size, because when there are games like Morrowind for the Xbox and Oblivion for the 360, you don't need alot. ♥

[identity profile] kinneas.livejournal.com 2007-04-03 06:46 am (UTC)(link)
1. I wasn't so much a fan of Xbox as I was a few select games (and good fucking lord I hate Halo), but goddammit if 360 is not an absolutely fantastic system with really good games.

I may bitch at work about how people that play nothing but shitty FPSs and Nascar games all day need to broaden their horizons, but really, so do RPG folk. A quick play of Gears of War or Hitman: Blood Money (or Kane and Lynch, when it comes out) or Geometry Wars would do a lot of people some good.

Number 3 makes me want to ask Case to dye his hair pink and duplicate the shot. They look alike e.e

To #1: I totally agree. The X-Box surprised the heck out of me with the quality of its library, and it's still one of my favorite consoles. :-) Feels like the true successor to my beloved Dreamcast.
