Unfortunately, I live in a very Christo-fascist city. :\ So I live in a fairly isolated state all the time, and then combine that with smaller fandoms... When half your engagement is just being told to percentage yourself, it gets disheartening.

That sucks nonny, I can see how that would make the fandom situation even more disheartening. I hope you're able to find some chiller fandom spaces to hang out in. IRL bigotry definitely makes me less patient in dealing with online stuff sometimes.
