Who died and appointed you the guardian of other people's morality? It's none of your business what other people ship, or why they ship it, unless they are insisting you ship it too.

I'd rather know where they got that 75% statistic. Almost everyone in fandom who reads or writes gay fic is queer. Cishet women literally do not care about gay fic positively or negatively, it is just not on their radar.

There's a lot of m/m slash written by straight women, and there always has been. However, given that it's fiction, I don't see why that's a problem.

However, they are making a LOT of assumptions and ignoring the large parts of fandom that are not involved in writing transformative works.

I just wish they'd put on their big kid pants, grow the hell up and realize that no one owes them or their faves fanworks.
