This is such a refreshing outlook. Good for you.

I don't leave reviews too many reviews, but I do fill out the little form at my library suggesting they order books I like and authors I want to support. They don't directly help the author exactly, but it helps get the word out and a wider audience which may lead to sales. (or so I tell myself)

Well, the library does have to pay money for the books that you recommend that they wind up buying!

A book I wanted to read got 5 copies purchased for the library system I belong to, which is far more than I personally would have ever bought.

Well, the library does have to pay money for the books that you recommend that they wind up buying!

Not only that, but the library copies of books often cost more because they have to be sturdier to hold up to repeated reading.
