This is such a refreshing outlook. Good for you.

I don't leave reviews too many reviews, but I do fill out the little form at my library suggesting they order books I like and authors I want to support. They don't directly help the author exactly, but it helps get the word out and a wider audience which may lead to sales. (or so I tell myself)

You might be able to earn the money for the books in the same amount of time, but would that be what you'd want to use the money for if you had it? You're fine. Reviews help authors a lot.

yeah I agree with others, good reviews sell books. We know this is true or publishers wouldn't send out Advanced Reader Copies for people to read and review. If you are buying second hand and writing a good review, odds are pretty good that multiple people will buy the book based off your and other's reviews. This imo is much better than working for an hour and buying the book new and then not reviewing it.

Plus you are supporting small business. So thats a win.

But I admit I'm a bit stuck on the "it takes longer to do this than it would to to earn the money to buy a new book outright". I mean... just how long are you taking to write reviews? No one expects an essay.

But did you like it overall? I really enjoyed the graphic novel when it first came out but my brief view of the trailer didn't seem to have the same feel? But I read it forever ago so who knows.

It’s funny, a lot of people I follow on YouTube for music covers have done this song. I only listen to a couple of seconds so it will end up in my history, where I get back to things I want to watch later. But I never have for covers of this song. I don’t know why, because I thought it sounded cool enough from the first couple of seconds. I guess I’m just not interested. Maybe I’ll listen to it someday, maybe not. I haven’t seen the anime either or read the manga either, even though I loved Kaguya-sama which was made by one of the authors. But that’s because Oshi no Ko doesn’t seem like my kind of story at the moment.

I did think that the fast nature of it was different than I’d expect the opening of an anime sung by an idol would be.

Also, I only know one other song by this singer, and it was one of the openings to Beaststars. I didn’t really like that song.

None of this was really that relevant to the secret beyond the song, sorry.
