I was reading an MCU fic and it seemed like the author thought Malibu was somewhere north of New York City and a few hours drive away.

Listicles where it is clear the author isn't really familiar with something on the list.

Any article about a video that doesn't actually include that video, so you have to click through another link to get to the video.

On YouTube, any ad longer than the video I want to watch, especially something like a full show episode or movie (I know I can skip them and I do, it just annoys me).

There’s ads that long on YouTube?? I’ve never gotten one of those before, but I suppose I’d believe it.

I've gotten 90 minute "ads" before lmfao. Like, no YouTube, I am not interested in this 90 minute film about a regatta in Denmark before my 30 minute AITA video.

Yep. I remember they had the first full episode of Zoe's Extraordinary Playlist as an ad just before the show premiered. A couple weeks ago, there was an infomercial on generators that was like an hour long. There was some movie as an ad for Disney+ when it first started, though I don't remember which movie.

I can never decide whether it is someone who wasn't paying enough attention to where things are during the movies or someone from a small country who just has no idea how big the US is (though I do know plenty of people from the US that have no concept of the true size of Alaska or just how far away Hawaii is).

I recently saw a map of Alaska superimposed on the continental US and was blown away. I'm from said continental US and embarrassingly old to have just learned this.
