Yes, I think it's quite clear that Pacino's acting lost a ton of steam along the path of his career and he turned into a cartoon character.

But that doesn't diminish how good he was at his best. Just an incendiary actor. Maybe the best American screen actor ever at his best. And also a gorgeous, gorgeous man.
