Yeah, for me the abuse probability as a function of age diminishes significantly when the life experience gap evens out, and even turns toward whether the older person is making autonomous decisions given a certain age, but it's not like we're seeing this dynamic rarely. It seems like the most common dynamic of men who reach a certain age, and that says a lot of me about the misogyny that still exists. When Bezos was revealed to be cheating with a woman his age, that was the surprise.

eta: don't get me started on men as parents as a social issue which has both issues of misogyny AND children as props.
