Gaiman's tumblr has been really active because of season 2 of Good Omens and he's getting a ton of related asks. I saw a super cringe one where someone badgered him to say that he loved fanfiction of his works and when he wouldn't actually come out and say that (on account of him not reading fanfic of his works and not wanting people to send it to him, for legal reasons), they insisted that he must be in the minority and all creators loooooved having fanfiction of their works waved in their faces.

I feel like maybe some of the people asking are perhaps young, and definitely socially awkward, and a little too invested in fandom to the point where they're not really seeing any outside perspective.
