I used to follow his work, but I think sometime around the first couple of years reading into Dumbing of Ages, something about the creator's abrasiveness just got too much for me. It's like, we're largely in the same wavelength when it comes to opinions about things, but he always gave off this "taking it too personally, so must retaliate with full force" bluntness that I just felt was too... mean-spirited, I guess? I don't know, it was just too much internet drama for my taste, I suppose.

Yeah I used to follow his blog but when this drama happened (I want to say it had something to do with Transformers fandom?) his attitude was shockingly mean and full force when before he had seemed pretty normal and fun. After that I couldn't read his words without that type of tone popping up in my head and it just wasn't fun anymore. But also like you it was just too much drama for me. I prefer to just avoid all that mess.
