When I say it reads like het fic it's because of the stereotypes the writer depends on. There is absolutely zero difference between a het sex scene and these trans dudes and their piv sex. It's hard to explain, but there can definitely be trans piv sex that doesn't read like het but most authors do not pull that off. And it often feels like they're not even trying.

The secret was worded VERY badly, but I do agree with this^

This is why I don't go looking for fanfiction with trans characters (if not from very trusted authors) while I have no issue with FANART that include PiV sex involving a trans character. Because a lot of artists takes the extra step to make it look "Queer".
One of my favourite fanartist is famous for often drawing canon cis characters as trans men and I LOVE IT. It's so fucking hot.

IDK if it's inexperience in writing sex scenes or what else, but [There is absolutely zero difference between a het sex scene and these trans dudes and their piv sex] is exactly what I feel about this about fanfiction.
