These are old but I loved them a lot.

Andre Norton's books, especially her Witch World series, also Dark Piper, Star Gate, the Janus books and the Beastmaster books. That's just the ones that I can remember off the top of my head.

Leigh Brackett's books and stories

C.L. Moore's Northwest Smith stories

Jack Vance's novels, pretty much all of them

These are both old and have problematic authors, but are still worth reading, IMO.

Edgar Rice Burroughs' Barsoom books where everyone runs around naked except for their jewelry and weapons

Marion Zimmer Bradley's Darkover novels

Dragonflight, by Anne McCaffrey
