Thank you. <3 I gave him a nudge the other week to talk to his best friend more, since he'd (with the best of intentions) not really been communicating much with him since he doesn't want to be a downer. They're talking more now and he's notified the rest of his family, which I know was really hard to do.

My partner drives and has been brilliant with giving transport for appointments, and I get the train with him for any my partner's not available for. Dad's mother actually notified an old childhood friend of his and he genuinely offered to drive down and collect him to take him home for a visit. This man lives 300 miles away. I really hope he realises how much people care for him.
