(Anonymous) 2023-07-24 12:39 am (UTC)(link)I was going to Barbenheimer it but Barbie alone was 2hrs, Oppenheimer was 3 hrs, and my chronic pained ass is not gonna survive a movie theatre seat for that long lol.

(Anonymous) 2023-07-24 01:31 am (UTC)(link)Oppenheimer honestly seems more like my type of movie, but I was definitely praying for Barbie to do well, since the sexist asshats wouldn't have shut up about it if Barbie had gotten panned and/or crushed at the box office. Also I really like Greta Gerwig's work, and if Barbie had tanked it definitely could have been a significant setback for her career wise, which would've really sucked. I'm glad both movies seem to be doing well, both critically and financially. \o/

(Anonymous) 2023-07-24 09:55 am (UTC)(link)I've been banging my head against the riddles and language in Shakespeare's sonnets, and don't currently have much interest to spare for anything else. I know practically everyone with an opinon on the subject says they're very original, but damn ... I was still not expecting his range of subject matter. The "I will immortalize you" theme with the guy who's his boy or friend or boyfriend (depending on how you look at it) gets a little repetitive, but practically everything else makes up for it.

(Anonymous) 2023-07-24 05:44 pm (UTC)(link)I have no interest in Oppenheimer. But if it's really good I'll watch it on streaming because I do not trust Nolan without subtitles. I'm done.

(Anonymous) 2023-07-24 07:04 pm (UTC)(link)I'll see Oppenheimer sometime later. Cillian Murphy is a beautiful, beautiful man and I'm happy he's Nolan's muse or something.
