Yeah. I don't think you quite understand how this works. Authors frequently decline to read fanfic because they don't want to be legally vulnerable to accusations of plagiarism and copyright violations down the line. You can send all the crappy fanfic you want, if they don't read it and it's generally known that they don't read fanfic, they're fine.

In other words, you can't send crappy fanfic like casting a spell.
