Starting a new job tomorrow

Filled with nervous energy and flitting uselessly from thing to thing. New environment! New people! New policies, procedures, and programs to learn! I'm just out of a job where I knew nearly everything, and I had total confidence in my knowledge and abilities. Starting over again is, admittedly, a bit scary, even though I had good reasons for making the change.

What's a time when you've gone through a big, self-induced change? How did you deal with your nerves (if you had any)? How did things turn out?
