Re: Sinead O'Connor passed away.

She was anti nukes at the height of the cold war, hated the British Royal family while they were still actually popular, shaved her head when fashion was about women being ultra feminine, spoke up for vegetarianism, back before Mad Cow disease was a thing, so... she did nothing wrong. The Tabloid press however, especially the British Tabloid Press, were fucking insane over her though. They really went for her in a way that even by todays standards is crazy rabid.

Sinead, nothing compares to you. Hope you are at peace, whereever.

Yes I can well believe the tabloids roasted her for all that. Fuck the press.

RIP Sinead.

Perhaps the only thing she did was tweet that she hated white people and found them disgusting.

Her conversion to Islam was pretty cringey. Not because there is anything wrong with Islam but because of her actions surrounding it. Plus her lifelong history of random religious fanaticism, which is of course a giant red flag even in the mental health community.

With all the abuse she suffered in her younger years, it's obvious she was seeking comfort. And I think she always believed in a God.
