What podcasts are you listening to? I always read creepy stuff (9 out of the 10 books I've read this year are horror). So I might be able to rec something.

Mostly one I recently discovered called Beach Too Sandy, Water Too Wet. It's completely different than what I normally listen to (comedy vs. true crime) but it is hilarious. I've only listened to 40 something episodes and there are almost 300 so it'll be quite awhile before I'm caught up but I love it so far.

I'd love any creepy/horror recs you have!

I love that podcast! Been listening for like a year.

What kind of horror you looking for? Or anything you hate?

I'm really in the mood for something about a creepy/haunted house, but I'm up for anything, really! And I can't think of anything I hate.

How To Sell A Haunted House by Grady Hendrix. It has some amazingly bonkers moments.

House of Leaves by Daniel Mark Z. Danielewski. Super long but fantastic. Took me a year to read and you need a physical copy.

Song for the Unraveling of the World by Brian Evenson. Great collection of short stories.

What Moves The Dead by T. Kingfisher. A retelling of House of Usher.

Mouthful of Birds by Samanta Schweblin. Another collection of short stories.

NOS4A2 by Joe Hill. One of my favorite horror novels. Would be great to read around Christmas.

OMG, someone else who has read Samanta Schweblin? Have you read Fever Dream? Or Seven Empty Houses? It isn't really horror but it is bizarre. BTW, Brian Evenson has the same vibes as Schewblin.

I haven't! I will have to check those two out, and Brian Evenson! Thanks for the recs!
