I was 14, deep into Saint Seiya and freshly unleashed on the internet--those were the days before Google when you used Yahoo or Altavista btw, the days of GeoCities webrings? I was just looking for more info, found that and also "characters shrines" and fanart and fanfic and yesss, The Yaoi hidden behind so many excessive warnings.

OOOOOH now you remind me why I didn’t stumble across non-gen fic before teenagehood… yes, the “18+“ warnings scared me away and I was drawn to the “ANTIHENTAI” banners in websites… probably.
