Mainly watched it because I got spoiled for episode 6 a couple of weeks ago. Didn't like S1 very much apart from Aziraphale/Crowley parts, so I definitely appreciated the focus on them in the second season. That said, to me, the pacing felt off throughout and while I enjoyed the queerness of it all, I needed more material to actually feel invested in the Maggie/Nina matchmaking shenanigans. For example, Nina's off-screen partner with the constant text messaging felt really hollow and off-putting to me. I would've preferred Nina freshly out of a dysfunctional relationship and understandably wary of new connections and the prospect of vulnerability instead.

Loved all the angst at the end. Don't get some people's burning hatred for Aziraphale but you do you, fandom. Looking forward to all the well-plotted fix-it fics that'll bask in the angst and mutual pining of it all.

TL;DR: To me, some parts were off and no, it wasn't perfect. But I saw and respect it as the GO creatives openly embracing a very enthusiastic, queer fandom which, even after all these years, still isn't the norm. Let's hope we'll get that third season and some much more tender physical affection between the two because I have an urgent need.
