A Quiet Place is awful and I was horrified to see there was a sequel. Yuck!

I'm so-so on A Quiet Place. The issues with it didn't bother me as much on first watch, but the flaws seem to have stuck with me better than the good parts, over time.

I completely agree about Arrival. I love Denis Villeneuve as a director, and Amy Adams is a very strong actor IMO, so I was totally ready to love the movie at the start, but the story/concept just totally lost me/annoyed me.
