Not a recent movie but EVERY critic seems to love Days of Heaven. I think it was probably the most boring movie I've ever seen.

I think Terrence Malick is someone who you either love or you hate and it's purely subjective taste which way you go down. I get where the critics are coming from - he's a fantastically talented filmmaker, an actual genius. but I can't abide his movies at all.
