Only people who agree with you are allowed to tell creators what to produce, right? You sound just as entitled and obnoxious as the people you want to criticize.

No, fans shouldn't tell creators what to do at all. Creators should tell the stories they want to do. When fans force the creators or coerce the creators into changing, it generally always ends badly.

Works In Theory. Just you forgot to factor the money fans are paying for a story into that. If it was free and not a product purchased by people and manufactured for the purpose of being purchased. People who buy a product to make them happy, produced by a studio specifically to do so, have a fair argument if it did not in fact make them happy. Teal deer: you forgot about the money exchanged.
