Why not post something supportive that asks the question at the same time, like "I'd love to order X or Y or Z but I see it's all out of stock, when do you think it will be available again?"

Believe it or not, that kind of comment would likely attractive a negative response for the extremely mild hint of criticism re: anything being out of stock and pressuring a small business owner.

If someone were to see a comment like that as a negative, I would be petty enough to not want to do business with them again.

Like, I'm trying to engage with your services because I want to give you money. I'm not here to be your mom/emotional support system.
