As a Trans(tm) I gotta disagree. I would actually like way LESS content where cis authors clumsily include trans rep that's just a poorly disguised attempt to inform the audience that they're not a terf because they feel obligated to do so.

Also, like... I'll be the first to condemn Buying HP stuff and supporting JK financially or agreeing with her views, but I really don't think HP fanfic is my biggest concern as a trans person. I think the community has way bigger fish to fry - none of the politically engaged trans people I know in real life care about this, at all. I think people tend to overestimate the importance of fandom, lol.
