This one inherited it from a rich childless guy who made him his heir over their shared last name. How that previous guy became rich and powerful is... another story, a new spin-off/prequel that, oddly, I have absolutely no intention to read.

loool that sounds like a backstory ripley made up before he killed his "friend". is this character not even doing the thing where he's rich so he mentions his charities every chapter? is he literally just a "my money is my superpower" hero?
