Why can't fandom let women be in happy, normal relationships without complaining? What did you really want her to do? Go back to the main land in the 1970s and explain to her 8 year old sister (or whatever age Rachel is) That she time traveled back to see her. As for doing something, she was waiting for Locke, what else could she have done? Do you want her to just sit and do nothing in Dharmaville? At the very least all that she went through on the island before should mean she is allowed a little bit of happiness.
I would love a Sawyer/Juliet reunion in S6 (if he ends up with Kate the writers have no idea what a healthy relationship looks like) but I would also love for her to get off craphole island and back to her sister. Some people can have it all you know.

(Anonymous) 2009-07-05 08:02 pm (UTC)(link)LMAO. Because Jim/Juliet was the definition of ~*healthy*~, sure. LOL. Just because they were uber cheesy in ONE scene that's sure the healthiest relationship ever.
It doesn't matter if we don't know ANYTHING about them, apart of how their relationship was born because Kate was gone and they clinged on each other. That's nothing wrong about it, or unrealistic. I understood the situation perfectly.
Of course we also know why they broke up after few days after O3's return: because Juliet knows he would have stayed with her forever even if it wasn't what he wanted. Because when someone is talking about forever, Sawyer thinks about Kate, his true love, not Juliet.
Jim/Juliet was a relationship so strong that it imploded only in few days because of a look. And they agreed on ERASING it completely. That's for sure true love LOL
It isn't healthy when someone stays stubbornly with a girl out of loyalty (it seems like everyone forgot all what happened after LaFleur, the finale, Juliet's speech during the break up and her flashback LOL) not true love, and because she reminds him of his mommy that abandoned him.
It isn't healthy when someone is living in denial in a bubble during a wrong period of time in a weird society that looks like a cult.
It isn't healthy when someone is leaving all his friends behind on the Island because he felt he owed to Juliet to return into real world with her.
It was for Kate and only because she believed in him that he became a hero (this process culminated when he jumped off from a chopper for her, and his friends - while his love for Juliet made him stubborn and selfish), a lot before Juliet even appeared on our screens. His love for Kate made him progress and we saw ALL of it, so I have proofs of what happened. With Jim/Juliet all is implied and we have to assume what was happened.
