It is, though. Flights are not cheap, nor are they easy - especially if you don't already live in a major city. But if that's your argument, then sure, with a generous budget, OP could do the same.

You fly Cape Air from your local field to your local hub, and yeah it is pretty fucking cheap. Probably cheaper than the Uber's surge price that kicks in when the flight gets in.

Yes, please tell me how easy and cheap it is to fly from where I am to a major city, because you'd totally know that better than I would.

To OP: Many, many Americans do not live in a major city with an air hub. Many, many Americans also do not live someplace with easy transportation option such as Uber. It's called "rural America". But of course, that's probably not what you were talking about, because you specifically mentioned roadtrips in your secret, and most of the people responding to this thread are addressing your actual point instead of trolling.

Where are you?

(Anonymous) 2023-08-19 10:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Rural America. I'm not sharing my location on a public forum, friend.

Which rural America? Alaska? Upstate New York? A farmhouse outside Providence? Texas? Even Jersey has rural pockets, come on, name the states here.
