Some of our traditions are the same as in western countries (fucking bouquets). Some we don't have (bachelor party is usually not a thing). But we also have mock bridal kidnapping..... Yeah......
When my friend was getting married, her ceremony was mostly not-tradional, but still couple of relatives wishes them to have a lot of children. Frankly I was livid, what a fucking wish is this? Ironically my friend has what is considered a lot of children here and somehow this relatives are not around to help. Shocking (not)

So I'm from an area in my country where mock bridal kidnappings are a thing and it's usually the bride piaaing of with some people to go through all the closest bars to drink and when the groom finally catches up the bridal kidnapping party is often completel wasted... not fun.

Oh gods. At least ours is a short affair. It's usually bridal party drinking or touching make up while groom is doing some 'heroic' quest* thing but it's usually half an hour most.
*also drinking and maybe showing some dance moves
