Seriously. It's just refusing to see marginalised people as people in the same way he is, tbh; he's seeing rioting or resistance to police as like, mad uncontrolled violence. Rather than seeing it as a genuine example of what he's supposed to be singing about - a community coming together to resist violent attacks on its members.
