But Oliver Anthony apparently lives in a $750 camper off-the-grid. He used to work in a paper mill and released the song independently. So, I think he's legit poor. Not that I think that means he's right.

My disability payment is $600 a month, and although I get Medicaid (including dental, only there aren't any dentists within 50+ miles who take it unless you're under 18 or over 65), there are only a few doctors and pharmacies who take it, a lot of them suck, and only a handful of the specialists I really need to see accept it, so no more rheumatologist for my arthritic fibro-stricken ass!

But yeah, obviously people like me should just live in rags and subsist on beans and rice and whatever scraps get thrown down to us by our betters, who resent us even for that. /not bitter at ALL

I'm the anon you answered. I have arthritis in my knees but thankfully there's no pain. I found a rheumatologist that accepts my insurance this month.
They want us Medicaid people to accept shitty care from shitty dentists at shitty community health centers.
