Eh, there's no such thing as a perfect site and things can always improve if they are not destroyed first.

With that said, I am glad that someone on here also suggested Squidgeworld as an alternative - not to hate on AO3 because I do use it; but I also like being able to upload my fics on multiple sites instead of just trusting the one location (plus its been interesting looking into the fics/background of SW since its been around for a long time and had only recent started using the same layout as AO3 but with a different color scheme).

I don't know how I feel about FFnet - I want to like it and thank god that I can have free adblocker to avoid the choices that FFnet made to place ads in the middle of the fics now <_< But every other time I've gone on there to reread a fic, a page would suddenly set off my antivirus and block everything. It didn't happen every time so I have no idea if it was the site itself or what the actual problem was. It also feels like its days are numbered and would not surprise me if the whole thing gets deleted out the blue one day.
