I will always love the Hermione is a transgirl from Potterverse headcanons. Mainly because it ticks off Her High Evilness that it exists.

And you'll pry the Ryouga is un love with Ranma headcanon from my cold dead hands!

That one about how Genie of Disney's Aladdin is from the future is neat.

I've converted at least one person to my KinnPorsche headcanon that either Porsche and Chay are actually half brothers or Korn and Gun THINK they are. It lends the ending a very "monarchical consolidation of power through cousin marriage" vibe that I really enjoy.

Totally a headcanon, not remotely canon, but I've always loved the idea of people calling the Ring "Precious," because that's what Melkor called Sauron and because Sauron put himself in the Ring, that's what it wants to be called.

I like that headcanon a lot too - it's cute and fun!

I like it as a note of the sort of transliteration that Tolkien played with so Mairon = Admirable = Precious, but i think Melkor being the last person to call Sauron Mairon is also good

Good point. That's part of why I love the idea. It is very tied into Sauron's original name and also his original character that gets twisted (admirable and need to be admired twisting into arrogance and desire for complete control over everything).

Shen Yuan from SVSSS being chronically ill in his past life. Also, Shen Yuan being the original Shen Jiu just with amnesia/memories of a past or future reincarnation. I think the latter especially has some pretty compelling evidence in the novel, especially the fact that none of Binghe's attempts to bring Shen Qingqiu back brought back Shen Jiu's soul, and even with the Holy Mausoleum, it put Shen Yuan's soul back in it instead of Shen Jiu's.

Movie!Thranduil being blind on one or both eyes.

The idea that the book Howl's Moving Castle is from Sophie's POV and the movie is from Howl's - it might not perfectly explain the differences but it doesn't really need to because I just think it's neat :)
